In 2016 we funded the construction of a parking lot for trail users to access a newly donated section of trails in the Wilder Forest. GDA provided 100% of the funding to create a 30 car parking lot accessible from the Brock Road and adjacent to a horseback riding facility. From there, the gorgeous forest can be accessed by a strip of land leased from the Wilder family.

In 2021 we obtained funds from Trans Canada Trail Foundation to enlarge and improve a parking lot which is a heavily used access point for trails. Lafarge and GDA contributed financially, and the Township of Uxbridge was able to implement the project. Our efforts resulted in the parking lot at the East Duffins Headwaters being expanded from 25 to 50 cars and greatly enhanced the safety for drivers and trail users.
